Sant Sevalal Maharaj – The Spiritual Guide
The Sant Sevalal Maharaj equestrian statue is 21 feet high. It is a panchdhatu (five-metal alloy) statue that was unveiled in February 2023. This statue is part of the Banjara Virasat Nagara Museum complex.
Sant Sevalal Maharaj was an 18th-century Indian socio-religious reformer and spiritual leader revered by the Banjara community. He dedicated his life to eradicating superstitions and bringing about reforms for tribal forest dwellers and nomadic tribes, advocating for their rights, education, and social upliftment.
Sewa Dhawaj
The Seva Dhwaj is a monumental ceremonial flag rising 150 feet high.
This towering flag stands alongside an equestrian statue of Sant Sevalal Maharaj, the revered spiritual leader of the Banjara community.
More than just a structure, the Seva Dhwaj is a powerful symbol of identity, pride, and heritage. It embodies the traditions, values, and spiritual guidance of the Banjara people, inspiring unity and preserving their cultural legacy for generations to come.
